Software — By Pedro on November 1, 2009 at 23:25It ‘s a software that works with a database of metal alloys, produced by the ASM International. Society ASM International has a long history of publications and promotion of conferences on materials, and the famous “ASM Handbook’s”.
The current version of Alloy Finder is one of the most comprehensive tools for finding information on alloys.
The interface was developed in partnership with Granta Design Ltd., and its possible make a research through the composition,the alloy name, keyword and type of material.
Method of use:
The software is paid and the cost for 1 user is US$844 (provided in the form of cd-rom). Access through the Internet from 1 to 3 users, costs about US$1266.
Material in the database:
Do not mention the exact number of materials, note that the software and associated database containing more than 105,000 names, classifications and trade names for many different alloys.
