The Technotheek is a free online database, that was developed by Hoge school of Utrecht, Industrial design faculty (TU Delft) and Hoge school of Rotterdam.
This recent database it´s easy to use, you can acess to information by material group, fabrication process,bar code and keyword. The problem is that the interface is only in dutch. The database has a small number os materials., about 442.Technotheek, the material and technology infocenter

The Technotheek is a free online database, that was developed by Hoge School of Utrecht, Industrial Design Faculty (TU Delft) and Hoge School of Rotterdam.
This recent database it’s easy to use, you can acess to information by material group, fabrication process, bar code and keyword. The problem is that part of the texts are only in dutch. The database contains about 442 materials.
Method of use: The access to the database is free.
Materials in the database: The database is organized in nine groups of materials, ceramics, composites, metals, polymers, glass, naturals, textiles, fibers and recycled.
